Program Sakura Kids Club – Karasuma Gojo (Opening on March 18)

OPENING ON MARCH 18

Conveniently located in the center of Kyoto, children can learn more about Japan through activities such as Japanese ink paint, Japanese calligraphy, cooking, origami, visiting a local park frequented by local children from the neighborhood, and more.

Children will be taken care of by local mothers who can speak English. There is also an English classroom on the premises so participants could meet local children who speak some English as well.

Features

  • This program is created by educational professionals such as an elementary school teacher, an English teacher with the certificate of Early Childhood Education and so on.
  • While children enjoy their time at the “machiya,” our hope is that parents can shop, dine and enjoy an overall relaxing few hours by themselves.
  • You can see the inside of the room from your own smartphone etc.
